Located just a few miles from the beautiful North Norfolk coastline our campsite is set in a secluded woodland glade. Regular users include schools, scouts, brownies, D of E groups, caravan clubs, youth groups and family camping.

Our main campsite area comprises a large grassed area containing beautiful veteran oak trees and a permanent seating circle and campfire area.  The campsite is separate from the residential centre housed in the main Hall where groups may also be in residence.  By prior arrangement it may be possible to hire a room in the Hall courtyard for indoor work.  There are orienteering trails throughout the grounds and plenty of space for activities and games.

Facilities include:

Shower block, toilet and washing facilities, accessible toilet, waste disposal bins, Elsan emptying point, indoor washing-up area.

The campsite can also be booked for one-off events. Please contact us for more details.  No pets are permitted on the campsite or in the grounds of Holt Hall.

Swallowtail Holidays provides a wonderful all year round camping experience and ticks all the boxes for the perfect holiday.  A range of activities for children are available throughout the summer and regular pizza nights are popular for getting to know your fellow campers.  As well as large grass pitches, luxury yurts and belle tents are available for hire. Please visit Swallowtail Holidays for more information.

Adventure Camping

A three-day camp, packed with challenge and adventure within the spectacular grounds of Holt Hall.  In this cross-curricular programme, children learn how to pitch tents, forage for wild food, make and cook on a campfire, whittle sticks, navigate through the woods, create masterpieces of environmental art and discover more about the nocturnal creatures who live in the grounds.
